********************************************************************** HARD DISK Boot Trick 2008-Oct-27 ********************************************************************** Tailwind-live will look for the first '/live' directory in the file-system and boot from there. This means that you can copy the '/live' directory on this CD/DVD to a partition of your choice for a faster Tailwind-Live experience. NOTE that Tailwind-Live mounts the '/live' partition as read-only and you will not be able to write to this partition .. so choose wisely. ALSO note that 'ntfsresize' exists in Tailwind-Live if you decide to re-size your Windows NTFS partition. Read the documentation carefully (as you will also need to use fdisk) and back up your hard drive! The program 'gparted' may be a more friendly tool for this. Force DVD boot: something like: kernel parameter 'live-media=/dev/hdc'
