********************************************************************** about Tailwind-Live http://www.tailwind-live.org 2010-Sep-12 ********************************************************************** Tailwind-Live is a live distribution of Linux based on Debian-Linux (www.debian.org) 'squeeze' built using the Debian 'Live-Helper'. Unfortunately there has been some divergence away from the Live-Helper methods in 2010 - but the spirit is still there! Notably, the kernel is 2.6.35.4 which supports the Acer Aspire 3810TZ and the i3/core Intel chipset which I was particularly interested in. Tailwind-Live differs from Live-Helper in that you can modify the user and system packages during the boot-up phase based on settings and scripts in the SETUP_DIR.
